Growchapel Allotment Association (GAA)

1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing this website and applying for membership with the GAA, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, our Site Rules, and our Constitution.

2. Membership & Tenancy

• Applying for a plot via this website does not guarantee a tenancy.

• Allocation of plots is managed via our waiting list in accordance with Glasgow City Council (GCC) statutory requirements.

• All members must pay their annual fees by the date specified by the Treasurer. Failure to pay may result in the termination of your tenancy.

3. Use of the Site Members and visitors use the Growchapel site at their own risk. The GAA is not liable for personal injury or loss/damage to personal property (tools, produce, etc.) while on-site. We strongly recommend that members ensure their own equipment is secured.

4. Conduct & "Safe Space" Policy We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination. The site is a community asset intended for wellbeing. Any member found to be in breach of our "Kindness and Consideration" values may have their membership revoked by the Committee.

5. Website Accuracy While we strive to keep this website up to date (especially regarding rules and legislation), the GAA does not guarantee that all information is 100% accurate at all times. Official notices posted on the site’s physical notice board take precedence over digital information.

6. Changes to Terms The Committee reserves the right to update these terms to reflect changes in law or Association policy. Continued use of the site or membership after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
